A Laboratory Technician has said Tonj South County Civil Hospital of Warrap State is overcrowded due to an increasing number of malaria cases.
Peter Kuot said other hospitals like Indeed and Truth Ministry are not operating because they have closed down for Christmas holiday, Don Bosco Radio reported.He said Tonj Civil Hospital staff members they will continue working 24 hours a day to help the sick people.
Mario Mathiang Gur, one of the Laboratory Technicians in the Hospital, said they treat patients suffering from Malaria, Typhoid, Pneumonia and Syphilis.
Mr. Gur advised parents and guardians to take care of their children during the Christmas season and bring them to the Hospital whenever they are sick.
