The United Democratic Front (UDF) on Monday announced the dismissal of Philip Yona , the former chairman and David William, the former secretary.
The Acting Chairperson Sebastian Uchan Kiech told journalists and members of the party that Philip Yona and his secretary are no more members of UDF because the did not follow the constitution of the party.He said after taking firm seat of the party, he will conduct a convention in two months time, according to the UDF constitution.
Mr Uchan said the constitution spelled out clearly that if the chairperson is not available, the deputy takes over the seat of the office after 45 days.
Mr Uchan called on the party members to remain calm as administrative steps are set underway.
