The Catholic Diocese of Rumbek is holding a three-day youth congress starting on Thursday December 20 through Saturday December 22 at Holy Family Cathedral.
The Parish Priest of the Cathedral Parish Fr. Andrea Osman Okello said on Monday that his Parish is ready for the annual Diocesan youth congress, Good News Radio reported.He said the committee selected for the congress is prepared and is expecting youth from all the eleven Parishes very soon.
Fr Osman said the congress will enable the youth to faith reformation and reconciliation.
Rumbek Diocese Youth Coordinator, Fr. Marco Tong Dihany said youth have started arriving from their Parishes and will start by knowing one another and the tradition of the Catholic Church.
The three-day youth congress will involve many activities including dramas, games, and traditional dances.
