ABULAILA RESIDENTS DEMAND CLEAN WATER

^{The residents living in Abulaila Administrative Centre in Umdarain Locality, Nuba Mountains have demanded clean drinking water.}

^{The Chief of the centre, Bolis Bashir Alfendi Kori, said the centre initially had one borehole which broke down last year and the locals have remained for more than a half year without clean water.}

^{He added that the citizens are taking water from the wells.}

^{Mr. Bashir called upon the Humanitarian Organizations and the UN agencies to provide clean water for the civilians.}

^{The chief lamented that lack of clean water has caused constant diarrhoea and many waterborne diseases in the area.}

^{Abulaila is the main station leading to Yida Camp.}
