An elder in Lakes State on Wednesday has said some articles in the national Transitional Constitution need to be properly reviewed.

Placido Lual Manyiny told Good News Radio in the sideline of the Transitional Constitution review workshop that the marriageable age needs to be specified clearly in the law.

He said Article 101 of the Constitution gives the President more powers even to remove the state elected governors and dissolves the state Assembly.

Mr Lual said the article 101 should be reviewed and adjusted because both the president and state governors are elected.

He said the need for constitution reviewed is not only for currently people on power, but for future generations to come.

Mr Lual said although the country did not heal the war wounds, people should be patient and tolerance to one another.

The three-day workshop that ended on Thursday was organized by Justice Africa, and brought together more than one hundred participants from all over the state.
