He said giving guideline information to journalists can help disseminate information to many people.

Mr William called on the media houses both within and outside the town to play a great role in spreading the messages on the dangers of HIV/AIDS.

United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) Deputy Country Representative Bannat Ndinabangi said it is very important to give journalists the right figure so that it helps them passed correct information to people.

He said UNFPA works in the areas of prevention of sexual transmission, women and girls, gender based violence and prevention of transmission among sex workers.

Mr Ndinabangi said UNFPA also work in the areas of human right, gender equality, universal access to reproductive health and HIV prevention and treatment care.
