The Speaker of Western Bahr El Ghazal Legislative Assembly has urged all members of the parliament to work hard in order to convince the citizens.
Andrea Mayar Acho in his opening speech urged the MPs to bring the challenges facing their constituencies to the August House for discussions.He called on the Mps to stop wasting time, but start working for what can make the citizen vote for them in the coming elections.
Mr Mayar invited the specialized committees to pressurize the executive bodies to present their plans to the assembly for discussion.
Governor Rizik Zachariah Hassan presented his report to the assembly where he cited achievements, challenges and plan for improving good governance in the state.
He pointed out financial and technical difficulties facing the government in providing basic services to the people of the state.
Speaker Mayar handed over the governor’s report to the Local Government Committee for study and presentation to the Assembly for approval.
