The Commissioner of Yei River County on Sunday has called upon all citizens of Yei town to join him in reinforcing security in the town.
Juma David Augustine lamented that security is very expensive and the County Authority is spending a lot of money in keeping the security of the town.He appealed to the business people to contribute for security maintenance in the County.
Mr. Juma added that the County authority has recorded many wrong elements in the town including Marungi chewers, opium smokers, idlers and sex workers in the centre.
He urged the Christians to pray for the government to have a divine wisdom in tackling insecurity issues.
Mr. Juma further lamented that bad roads in the County make some parts disconnected from the headquarters.
The Commissioner made the statement at Christ the king Cathedral on Sunday during the opening of the Year of Faith.
