The regular callers of radio stations in Lakes State have formed an association named Lakes State Peace Promoters Association.
The chairman of the Association, Alfred Tarban Makuei told Good News Radio that the association was formed to promote peace among communities through radio programmes.Mr Tarban appealed to other callers and the youth from various states to formed similar associations.
He said the plan of forming associations is very important for peace promotion through radio.
Tarban said the association will guide the callers, while calling for an active support from the government.
The members of the association are the regular callers of Good News Radio, Radio Rumbek 98 FM and Radio Miraya.
