A Catholic Priest from Nuba Mountains has expressed anxiety as the Sudan Air Force continues bombing civilian targets in the area.

On Tuesday, SAF dropped seven bombs over Heiban County, injuring three people.

One bomb fell inside the Catholic Church compound destroying part of the temple and the fence.

The priest said he was alive because he took cover in a trench.

He added that he was worried because the military aircraft keep on targeting the area.

The priest asked for prayers that the situation may improve in Nuba Mountains.

He said the situation remained tense and only God could protect them.

The priest urged people to be patient and remain together in the difficult moment.

He asked them to build shelters to protect themselves and especially the young and the elderly during air raids

On Wednesday, SAF launched another aerial attack in Kauda burning several houses.

No causalities were reported.

Air bombardments have intensified in the Nuba Mountains with the end of rains.
