The State General Transport and Transportation Union in Wau visited drivers serving prison sentences as a gesture of solidarity.
The Union delivered basic items to the prisoners to boost their spirits on Friday, Voice of Hope reported.Union President Awadh Hassan Achuil said the purpose of the visit was to show solidarity with their fellow drivers.
He added that the Union will be cooperating with all security and judiciary authorities and that their visits will continue.
Thirty drivers are serving prison sentences in Wau charged with different offenses.
