The Presbyterian Church celebrated on Sunday 100 years of presence in Nasir County of Upper Nile state.
Hundreds of faithful started arriving on Wednesday in Nasir to take part in the big celebration, Internews reported.Some came from as far as Gambella, in Ethiopia.
Moderator for Eastern Upper Nile Presbyterian Church Pastor John Chuol Duel welcomed the participants, Internews reported.
Pastor James Duoth Lual from Gambella said Christianity was a unifying factor and urged people to embrace it.
He praised God because Christianity brought the people of Eastern Jikany together.
