Grade eight students from seven schools in Torit on Saturday held prayers at Saints Peter and Paul Cathedral to ask God for success in their final exam that started today.
Fr. Peter Amayo told the candidates to take courage for their exams as the future of the new nation depended on their success, Radio Emmanuel reported.The priest advised parents to support the education of their children.
Candidates from St. Theresa, Torit West, Torit East, Torit Model, Dr. John Garang Memorial and were among the students that attended the thanksgiving mass.
The three-day Eastern Equatoria Primary Leaving Examinations started today and end on Wednesday.
