The state Ministry of Youth and Sports in Western Bahr El Ghazal State has convened a joint meeting in preparation for the 16 days of activism against gender violence due to start on November 26.

Stakeholders, international and national partners in the state this morning have discussed requirements for the celebration.
Archangelo Anyar Anyar, state Minister of Youth and Sport, said the 16 days of activism focus on addressing issues of violence against women, early marriages, human right violations and world disable among others.
He called on all partners to give their supporting hands for the success of the celebration.
The days will be celebrated under the theme “16 days of activism for peace at home to peace in the world – let us challenge militarism and violence against women”
The campaign will run from November 26 to theÊ December 10.
