The Directorate for Water and Sanitation in the Ministry of Rural Development is training men and women to advice the community on water management in the State.

Barnaba Makuach Magol told Good News Radio that the training will help the community ensure that boreholes are maintained in all eight counties of Lakes State.
He urged the community to cooperate with the team, urging the community to respect the workers who are volunteering to do the job.
Barnaba stated that in his monthly report one borehole is repaired more than six times.
Over two thousands boreholes are said to have been broken down in the State due to mismanagement.
