OVER 1,000 PEOPLE WATCH JESUS FILM IN BONGO

Over 1,000 people have watched Jesus Film translated into the Bongo language on Saturday in Tonj South county, Warrap State.

The translator of the film in Bongo, Daniel Rabbi Moi said the film has turned out very well in the Bongo language.

He added that the communities in Tonj were very happy to see Jesus Christ speaking in the Bongo language.

Mr Moi urged the whole community to leave their traditional beliefs and come to Jesus Christ.

He said there were 24 actors that participated in the Jesus film.

Mr Moi said the film delivered the message that the love of Jesus Christ is the only way to live our way of life.

One of the language committee members, John Njur said the language used in recording Jesus film was pure Bongo language.

Mary Michael one of the ladies that helped translate the Gospel of Luke urged mothers and fathers to send their children to school.

She said learning books in Bongo Language for primary 1 to primary 3 are ready and available to teach those children to write Bongo.

One of the members of the recording team, Karlo said the Bongo people were very hard working making it easy to finish the Jesus film recording in one week.

He urged all of the Bongo communities to keep on working hard with the help of God among them.
