Security forces have arrested a gunman who killed three people and wounded three others on Thursday at Tutumore village, Isalor Boma, Imurok Payam of Torit County in Eastern Equatoria state.
A combined security team arrested George Obur, a former Joint Integrated Unit (JIU) soldier, yesterday after launching a search.Eastern Equatoria state Minister of Public Administration and Internal Affairs, Claudio Suleiman Liling gave details of the arrest to Radio Emmanuel.
One of the dead victims, Juma Oyel, a police officer was shot while riding on a motor cycle.
Other dead victims are Francis Ubira and Jima Tankar.
A Ugandan national identified as Sigula Latif is one of the wounded victims of the wild shooting while Alfred Maban and Oburak Ohia also critically wounded are admitted to government hospital Torit.
