A married woman was killed in Ikwoto County of Eastern Equatoria accused of infidelity.

It is alleged that brothers-in-law tortured the woman to death, Radio Emmanuel reported.

Eastern Equatoria Public Administration and Internal Affairs Minister Claudio Suleiman Liling confirmed the murder.

He denied claims of infidelity.

Mr Suleiman said the Ikwoto Commissioner Peter Lokeng informed him that four suspects were detained over the murder.

The minister warned communities against mob justice saying they should report to Government authorities instead of taking the law into their own hands.
