An official from Lakes State health ministry said there were few cases of Malaria in the state hospital and the maternity ward was the only section with more movement.
Teran John Teran told the press on Tuesday that malaria cases have reduced with the outset of the rainy season, Radio Good News reported.He explained that the maternity was the busiest ward at the hospital.
Dr Teran told people to come to the hospital when they feel unwell.
He said it was not good to delay consulting medical personnel.
Two months ago, Lakes State Hospital was overcrowded with malaria patients admitted under the trees due to the congestion in the wards.
