Local leaders in Gudele 2 area, outside Juba, pledged to bring security, health and education services to the residents of the locality.

Gudele 2 Popular Committee Information Secretary, George Anthony Aliyas, told CRN that the committee met on Friday with the residents to introduce the organization and discuss solutions for the problems in the area.

He said the area should be demarcated to open new roads and bring security, education and health services to Gudele 2.

Mr Anthony explained that the majority of the people including the youth gave the go ahead to the project.

Gudele 2 resident Hani Martin Juma, a mother of five, said she was very pleased to see at last there was some form of authority in the area to look after their interests.

She asked the Government to build public schools in Gudele 2 zone because it was too expensive and risky to send the children to schools in Juba.

Ms Martin said there are two private schools in Gudele 2 but they are two expensive.

Gudele 2 Popular Committee is building its headquarters.
