A group of people were arrested in Yambio for allegedly plotting against Western Equatoria Governor’s life.
Governor Bangasi Joseph Bakosoro told the congregation at St. Mary’s parish in Yambio on Sudanday that Yoere Sasa led the plot.He said Mr Sasa was arrested by the security services because he paid 180,000 pounds to a group of people from Juba to kill the Governor in Yambio.
Mr Bakosoro said the suspected hired guns were arrested when they arrived in Yambio.
