The newly sworn-in Lainya County Commissioner said she was ready to face services delivery challenges and work hand in hand with the community.
Huda Michael Laila told CRN that poor infrastructures, education, health and services were obstacles to overcome.She said she knew the problems facing the people of Lainya County and singled out lack of money.
She vowed to identify sources of revenue in the County with the assistance of councillors, elders and chiefs.
Ms Michael said the people of Lainya would welcome her even with some reserves but she was ready to win their respect.
Commissioner Huda Michael Laila will take office on Monday.
She was the former minister of Gender and Social Development in the Government of Central Equatoria.
