A gang in police uniform forced a boda-boda rider to abandon his motorcycle and run for his life in the outskirts of Juba.
Angelo Ladu was attacked by two men in police uniform, both armed with guns and sticks, in Gudele residential area, Bakhita Radio reported.Mr Ladu said the two men rid his bike into the bush squeezing him in the middle.
He said they threatened to shoot him if he cried for help.
Mr Ladu revealed that one man chased him when he jumped out of the bike in a bumpy road and hid in the bush.
He said it was the third time that men in uniform tried to rob his motorcycle in the cover of darkness.
Many Juba residents accuse police officers to be highly involved in robberies and other crimes in the capital.
