Yei Payam handed over newly rehabilitated tukuls to the management of Yei Civil Hospital to address the increasing number of patients in the facility.
Payam Director Alfati Morgan said four tukuls were renovated by the payam authority to ease congestion at the hospital, Radio Easter reported.He called on the hospital administration to supervise the patients in the rooms, not to scare them away.
Medical director Kennedy Samuel said the new tukuls would be used for treating outpatients to avoid crowding at the admission wards.
The renovation work cost over 8,000 South Sudanese.
