The National Minister for Interior asked for a supplementary budget for the Police College and Police Academy because both institutions were left out of the 2012-2013 budgets.
Alison Manani Magaya made the call to the President of the Republic on Monday in Juba during the graduation of the first cadets from Rejaf East Police College.He said both Police College and the Police Academy were not included in the annual budget despite the presidential order of establishment.
Mr Alison said the established Police College and the Police Academy will offer degrees in police sciences and law when they meet requirements set by the High Education Council.
Mr Alison added that the process to meet those requirements was ongoing.
