Clergy and the lay people in the Catholic Diocese of Yei this morning started five days workshop on the social teaching in Lutaya Pastoral Coordinator Center.
The facilitator from Solidarity with South Sudan Fr. Jim Noonan said the Catholic Social teaching is like a secret to be shared together with the community.He explained that the workshop is divided in two phases: the first phase will be dealing with the principles of social teaching and challenges of South Sudan today.
He added that in the second phase, the participants will be looking at the African Synod as a Catholic teaching.
The workshop drew together more than 25 participants from the Diocese.
