About 100 returnees who were flown from Khartoum to Juba over three months ago are still at Kapuri way station facing many difficulties to survive without much assistance.

Agrippina Kaku told CRN that now there are no health services at the way station because the health centre and some latrines were already dismantled.

She lamented that sick people have move from Kapuri to Juba Teaching Hospital to get treatment.

Mama Kaku said the returnees are without money in the hands of God and many people are sick, especially children and the elderly.

She said they are waiting for the place of resettlement.

Morris Loboka said for some days children were taught at the camp, but it has stopped.

He added that the health centre was closed ten days ago and people are suffering.

Mr Loboka lamented that the kitchen was also stopped.

He called on the government to resettle the returnees because they do not have any land where to go.

The Government of Central Equatoria has promised to resettle the returnees at Kapuri way station.

The national government gave 14 days for the returnees to vacate the National Teachers Training Institute in order to reopen the institution.
