Twenty students have graduated this afternoon on peace building and trauma healing at the Reconcile Peace Institute in Yei River County.
ECS Bishop Hillary Adeba tasked the graduates to go and transform the communities in Jonglei and other states where there are tribal conflicts, Radio Easter reported.Bishop Adeba urged more women to join such trainings because they play a very import role model in South Sudan.
Reconcile Peace Institute principal Shelvis Smith Matter urged the graduates to use the knowledge they acquired to teach people on nation building.
Rev Matter said many people in South Sudan and Sudan suffer from trauma due to the long civil war.
The training on peace building under the theme Rejoice in Hope took three months and the trainees came from South Sudan and Sudan.
