The Chairman of the Anti-Corruption Commission said the reports prepared by the Auditor General on misgovernment lack particular details needed to start investigating corruption offenders.
John Gatwech Lul told the CRN that the reports are very general.He explained that if the Commission is to investigate those who committed corruption offenses it needs to find out what happened from the beginning.
The anti-corruption chief said the Commission is meeting the Auditor General to get more detailed information from his reports.
Justice Gatwech called on the public to inform the Commission about misuse of public money.
He said every citizen has the duty to protect public property and denounce corruption crimes.
He added that whistles blowers will be protected and their identity kept confidential.
The Auditor General has already released reports on the Government accounts from 2005 to 2008, detailing a number of malpractices and corruption charges.
So far, the authorities did not take any concrete action to bring culprits to book.
