Twelve girl students from Yei River County are taking part in the inter-secondary schools sports competition that started in Rumbek today.
Inspector of Youth and Sports Kujo Benneth told Radio Easter that the main purpose of the competition is to select a team of players to represent South Sudan in the East African inter-secondary schools games in Bujumbura, Burundi.Mr Kujo said the Rumbek sports competition will help the girls to develop their talents, promote unity among the states and represent the county at national level.
The inter-secondary school games have the patronage of Vice-president Riek Machar Teny.
