CABINET PASSES NATIONAL HOUSING POLICY

The Council of Ministers has passed the National Housing Policy in its ordinary sitting on Friday.

Government spokesperson Barnaba Marial Benjamin told the press after the meeting that the Cabinet unanimously passed the Housing Policy.

He said the Council also endorsed the Africa Housing Project to build houses in Ramciel.

Dr Marial said the Ministries of Housing and Finance are going to work together to design ways to finance and build the houses in the new capital.

National Minister for Housing and Physical Planning, Jemma Nunu Kumba, presented the National Housing Policy and the Africa Housing Project to the Council of Ministers.
