Eastern Equatoria state governor has shifted the state minister for Investment Jerome Surur Gama to position of deputy governor.

The appointment of Mr Surur comes barely after a six-month power vacuum at the second highest office in the state government, Radio Emmanuel reported.

Former deputy governor Nartisio Manir Loluke, who also coupled as the minister for Security and Law Enforcement, was relieve of his duties in January after the signing of State Transition Constitution.

Governor Louis Lobong Lojore recently appointed a number of officials including two chief administrators for Lofan and Imehejek corridors in Lofan-Lopa County.

Captain Albano Omoyang Amedeo was appointed as the chief administrator for the Imehejek corridor and Mathew Ugwak Ukidi for the Lafon corridor.

The appointments of the two separate administrators followed disagreement by Pari and Lopit communities of the County over the choice of a commissioner.
