The SPLM party committees on Thursday met in Juba to discussed law and regulations for the transformation of the party.
Upper Nile State Governor Simon Kun Pouch said he is Juba to attend the meeting that was organized by the party committees, Bakhita Radio reported.He said that President Kiir appointed him to be one of the members in the committees.
Mr Kun added that the committees are going to discuss the laws and regulations of the SPLM.party.
Mr Kun said the committees are dealing with internal discipline of the SPLM.
He added that the committees are also going to come up with SPLM code of conduct and some regulations to be used in the party’s transformation process
Mr Kun said most of the people in his state support the idea of the president of not creating more counties because of austerity measured.
He added that his state supports president’s decision to downsize the cabinet and work force because it will pull back resources to the states.
