SECURITY, JOINT TASK FOR ALL

Security is a joint task and each community member has the responsibility to keep the state secure.

This was said by Lakes State Minister for Local Government and Law Enforcement Agencies, Benjamin Makuer Mabor on Wednesday in Rumbek during a meeting with 100 youths from various parts of the state, Good News Radio reported

The minister advised the youth to say no to laziness and violence and yes to education, peace and reconciliation.

Mr Makuer said the State Government is determined to deal with illiteracy, poverty, disease and ignorance.

The minister thanked the youth for supporting the government.

He assured them that the government is committed to efficient service delivery and create more opportunities for the youth.

Mr Makuer said the State Government wants the youth’s help to fight insecurity, theft and gossip.

This was the first time the newly appointed Lakes State Minister for Local Government and Law Enforcement met Lakes State youths to explore ways of involving the young people in the fight against insecurity.
