The newly appointed Commissioner of Aweil West in Northern Bahr El Ghazal State is appealing for unity among the people of his county and the country at large.
Speaking to Internews Radio Network, Santo Garang Tong asked everyone to forget the past and unite in the development of South Sudan.He added that South Sudanese should look at themselves as one people and not to be divided by political or tribal differences.
Mr Garang appreciated all the communities of Aweil West for their support and encouragement during the recent crisis along the borders.
He asked the population to carry on with the same kind of spirit.
