Pioneer students at the Catholic University of South Sudan expressed great joy over their graduation on Saturday.

Suzy Anong Lomoro told Bakhita Radio that she is happy to graduate after four years of struggling with books and family affairs.

She said it was not easy to deal with both school and family.

Ms Anong encouraged women and men to embrace education because it improves the level of living in many aspects.

She advised men to allow women to go to school in order to assist them with the family responsibilities because educated women minimize family issues.

Anthony Suru said he was extremely happy to reach the final year of his studies after many challenges along the road.

He explained that he is looking forward to finding a job because he now knows how to do it.

Mr Suru added that financial and welfare challenges were major obstacles to his graduation.

He advised women and men who face similar situations to persevere, adding that hardship leads into success after struggle.
