The SPLM-North said it is ready to tackle President Omar Al-Bashir if he sets foot in Kauda.
SPLM-North Chairman in Heiban County Younan Al-Barout Ajour said that it is not the first time for Bashir to say he would enter Kauda.He said Bashir’s promise to pray in Kauda is just to boost moral of his supporters.
Mr Al-Barout added that they are ready to tackle Bashir should he set foot in Kauda.
He urged the civilians not to panic because Bashir’s claims were meant to scare people and create discomfort.
Mr Ajour added that Bashir will not come to Kauda because SPLA-North soldiers have closed all the routes to the area.
