The deputy governor, 12 ministers, ten commissioners and four state advisors, appointed to the transitional government of Western Equatoria state took the oath of office on Saturday morning, in a colourful celebration organized at the state secretariat.
Governor Bangasi Joseph Bakosoro urged his government officials to resume work in the various offices as soon as possible, Anisa FM reported.He urged the new ministers, county commissioners and state advisors to be transparent in their dealing.
Governor Bakosoro stated that the ministers and other state top officials will be monitored during the first half of their term in office in order to evaluate their performances and maintain or lose their positions.
