The Secretary General of Juba University Equatoria Cultural Association has called on the students to maintain good attitudes outside the institution while they wait its reopening.
Mbiko Yesu told Bakhita Radio that his colleagues should not get involved in wrongdoings because the students’ leadership is working hard to bring students back for lectures. He called on the students to get small jobs to keep them busy while the university reopens.
He said students should not involve themselves in theft, drinking and overnight parties.
Mr Yesu assured that the students’ association is working hard to uproot people who entered the University illegally to disrupt lectures.
He asked students to remain patient as their problems are being solved.
Mr Yesu concluded that there are individuals in the University of Juba pursuing personal agendas and not an academic career.
