The Directorate of Nationality and Passport said today it was sending a team to Khartoum in two days to start the process of documentation for South Sudanese in Sudan.
Director General Augustino Maduot told CRN that preparations were going on very well and the team with equipments was ready to go to Khartoum within 48 hours to starting the work.He said the information will be process there but production will be done in Juba.
Mr Augustino added that process of issuing the national certificates and passports was going on well but there are challenges because Juba is the only centre in the whole country.
He said about 30,000 nationality certificates and nearly 18,000 passports were issued since the centre was inaugurated in January this year.
