The Disarmament, Demobilization and Reintegration Commission in Western Equatoria announced it wants to register missing ex-combatants in the state.

DDR Commission State Chairman Philip Benjamin Juma told Anisa Radio that his commission is holding a tracing exercise for all the missing ex-combatants who were demobilized in Mangala, but did not return for their reintegration training in Western Equatoria.

He said the DDR Commission wants to know the exact location of all disarmed ex-combatants wherever they are living to ensure that all of them are registered and empowered with livelihood skills and opportunities to help their reintegration.

Mr Juma added that all the Women associated with the armed forces and groups are going to receive the necessary means to improve their lives in the communities after the reintegration.

The Commissioner urged all the missing ex-combatants with disabilities to report to the state office for special reintegration training.
