A local theatre group association has sued MTN of using their picture in an ad published on The Advertiser newspaper last month without their consent.
The two will appear in the high court today for the first hearing.The president of the group, Abulgood Mayil, told CRN yesterday that they were suing MTN because the company illegally used their picture without any agreement.
He explained that his group sought sponsorship from the MTN for an event they were trying to organized last month, but the company refused to pay them money but went ahead using the picture.
