KENYAN FAIR STRENGTHENS TRADE WITH SOUTH SUDAN

Kenya has opened today a fair in Juba to strengthen commercial ties with the Republic of South Sudan and display its trade capacities.

Karegwa Muchiri, the manager of Kenya Trade Fair in South Sudan, told CRN that the three-day event aims at strengthening trade exchanges between the two neighbouring countries.

He added that the fair also showcases what Kenyan investors are doing in South Sudan.

The trade fair also aims at delivering quality services to business people and investors.

Mr Muchiri said there are 25 exhibitors displaying a number of good and trades, including farm, pharmaceutical, machinery and electronics products.

The Kenya Trade Fair opened today in Nyakuron Cultural Centre, in Juba, and concludes on Saturday.

The event, organised by Capacity Africa Institute in partnership with Cargo and Logistics, has the support of the Ministry of Commerce of South Sudan, the Kenyan Embassy and a number of private businesses.
