The Catholic Bishop of Yei said the coming of two missionary priests and one brother will strengthen the diocese.
Three missionaries belonging to the Society of the Divine Word also known as SVD are expected in Lainya during the month of March, Radio Easter reported.
Bishop Erkolano Lodu Tombe told the participants at the annual diocesan meeting that the coming of the SVD missionaries represents a relief in pastoral ministry and in the feeding of the people of God through the sacraments.
The Bishop asked religious men and women, the clergy and the faithful to renew their hearts during Lent.
He appealed to the faithful to live a playful life.
