Catholic Bishop Eduardo Hiiboro Kusala of Tombura-Yambio told the crowd in Kuron Peace village that Bishop Paride Taban is exemplary in the meetings of the Bishops, Bakhita Radio reported.He defined Bishop Taban as a man of courage, patience, adventure, and experiment who always finds the way during difficult discussions.
Bishop Hiiboro said Bishop Taban is a model for the rest of the Bishops.
The Bishop of Yambio affirmed that tribalism remains as a major challenge in South Sudan.
He said Bishop Taban’s experiment in Kuron Peace Village should be replicated in other parts of the country to reduce tribal tensions and allow development and peace to grow.
Bishop Hiiboro made these statements at the celebration of Bishop Taban’s Diamond Jubilee in Holy Trinity Kuron Peace Village in Kopoeta East County of Eastern Equatoria during the weekend.
