TONJ SOUTH COUNTY BUILDS COMMUNITY POLICE HEADQUARTERS

Tonj South County has started building a community police station in Wanhalel Payam to accommodate the new force being trained in the county.

Tonj South County Commissioner Akec Tong Aleu told Don Bosco FM that the police community force will be based at the Wanhalel station.

He added that the officers will be deployed in case of any urgent insecurity issue arises in the county.

Mr Tong urged the community to respect and help the community police personnel to keep them healthy and strong.

South Tonj started training 200 women and men to integrate the Community Police Force.

The training takes 45 days.

The Tonj South Community Police Force will have 1,000 officers when fully deployed.
