Yei River County Inter Secondary Schools Tournament will kick off next month.
Youth Inspector Kujo Benard told Radio Easter that the objectives of the tournament are to bring peace and unity among the students and teachers and to develop the skills of talented students in sports.He said the tournament will also make the schools known to the public.
Mr Benard said 13 secondary schools are expected to take part in the tournament adding that the best players and goalkeepers including the most disciplined school with go home with trophies rewarding their performances and conduct.
He appealed to the all the schools that are going to take part in the tournament to observe a high degree of discipline.
Mr Benard told parents that they should encourage their children to participate in sports, drama and music to develop their talents.
