Eastern Equatoria caretaker governor has relieved the State government Secretary General of his services and replaced him with a new man.
EASTERN EQUATORIA GETS NEW STATE SECRETARY GENERAL
Johnson Juma Okot explained to Radio Emmanuel that the replacement of Cyprian Okuye Atar is a normal act of administration.
Mr. Okot added that he brought his own team to work with him while taking care of Eastern Equatoria affairs.
Felix Okanyi is the new State Government Secretary General for Eastern Equatoria state.
Mr. Okot said Mr. Okanyi’s appointment is meant to strategize state government under the new administration.
He added that the shake-up does not hide any political motives.
Mr. Okanyi was SPLM Eastern Equatoria State Deputy Chairman until on the eve of his new appointment.
