The SPLM-DC leader has confirmed rumours about the harassment of his party members in the various states of southern Sudan.
AKOL AFFIRMS HARASSMENT OF SPLM-DC MEMBERS
Dr. Lam Akol told SCR News that SPLM-DC party members have faced harassment since the establishment of the party in June last year.
He added that the entire SPLM-DC leadership in Western Bahr el Ghazal is in prison.
Dr. Lam Akol called on the government of southern Sudan, international observers and the National Elections Commission to ensure freedom for all political parties in the region to carry out their elections campaign.
