The Salesian leadership chose South Sudan to host this year’s feast of St John Bosco with his relic.
Salesian Fr Cyril Odiya said yesterday that the Republic of South Sudan had the privilege to commemorate the feast of Saint John Bosco in the presence of his relic.He explained that the organizers of St John Bosco’s World Tour chose South Sudan to commemorate 124 years of his death in the presence of his relic.
He urged the youths to make the most of the visit by putting their spiritual life in order before they invested on anything else.
St John Bosco’s relic concluded today a three-day tour of the parishes and institutions in Juba with a big festival at Juba Football Stadium attended by a crowd of youths from parishes and secondary schools.
